  1. Patents Act no. 57 of 1978
  2. Designs Act 195 of 1993.
  3. Plant Breeders’ Rights Act 15 of 1976
  4. Patent-related international instruments
  5. New technologies and the law
  6. Innovation and the law
  7. Registrability of patents and designs
  8. Capita selecta including: validity; interpretation of specifications; infringement; amendment or correction; compulsory licences; convention applications and exhaustion of rights.
